Meet Olwen
Olwen is our very own North Wales genius — a friendly local guide who happens to be powered by AI. Her name comes from Welsh legend, and like all the best locals she's generous with her knowledge: she knows the quiet beaches, the castles worth the drive, the pubs with water bowls by the door, and exactly which waterfall to visit when you fancy somewhere special.
She doesn't make places up, either. Olwen plans your days using Stay in North Wales's own attraction database and food & drink directory — the same places you'll find on the rest of this site — so every suggestion is somewhere real, with directions and a website you can check. Just tell her what kind of holiday you're dreaming of, and she'll take it from there.
How to use the planner
It's a bit like asking a well-travelled friend to plan your days. Here's what to expect.

Olwen asks a few friendly questions — your dates, who's coming, what you love doing, and your budget. Nothing overwhelming, and you can skip what you don't know yet.
2. She builds your plan
In under a minute she writes a realistic day-by-day itinerary — grouping nearby places together, respecting driving times, and matching your party, children, dogs and all.
3. Make it yours
Remove anything that doesn't take your fancy, move a visit to another day, or add hidden gems from her database. Or just tell her — "can you swap the walk on day two for something easier?"
4. Save it and go
